Production Manager
Job Summary
Manufacturing/Production Supervisor – 2nd shift nt‑line supervisor reporting to the Operations Manager. Supports production planning and control, quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment & facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering. Provides training in core skill areas and interacts with internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities- Direct day‑to‑day planning, execution, and control of resources to produce and repair products or services.
- Ensure department performance aligns with business metrics and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee fabrication and sustainment efforts and manage asset lifecycle from receipt to shipping.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives with focus on safety, morale, communication, and teaming.
- Facilitate teaming relationships with internal and external customers and ensure accurate communication.
- Provide necessary resources, tools, and training to Operations personnel.
- Initiate disciplinary actions in consultation with HR and perform performance evaluations.
- Minimum of a university degree or equivalent experience and 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Leadership, supervisory, operations, or manufacturing experience required.
- Ability to lead and manage people in test & manufacturing or electrical/mechanical repair environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with a government contractor is preferred.
- U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance mandatory.
Salary range: 68,900
USD – 131,100
