Test Engineer
Job Overview
Location:
Chesapeake, VA (US-VA-CHESAPEAKE-305). Position:
Test Technician. Shift: 2nd shift onsite. Training will take place on 1st shift for 6‑8 weeks.
- Conduct functional and performance testing on electronic and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve test failures and anomalies.
- Document test procedures and results accurately.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve test processes and methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain and calibrate test equipment.
- Generate reports on test status, issues, and actions.
- High School diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2‑year post‑high‑school training).
- Minimum four years of relevant experience in a testing environment.
- Experience with testing equipment and software.
- U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience producing presentations of status, issues, and actions.
- Experience reading technical drawings and schematics.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Experience troubleshooting electronic systems and equipment at a component level using schematics, test equipment, and technical procedures.

Salary range: $43,400 – $82,600 USD. Other incentive compensation programs may apply depending on position level and collective‑bargaining status.
