General Dynamics NASSCO in Norfolk, Virginia is looking for skilled Shipfitters for an exciting opportunity in our Steel Shop. The position requires knowledge in ship-related nomenclature and the ability to work from blueprints with minimal supervision.
We have five openings for the 1st shift (6 AM–2:45 PM). Ideal candidates will demonstrate skills in layout of plates and welding processes, and must be able to assemble structures across the shipyard.
