Grain Operations Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a Grain Operations Technician to support daily production at our client’s facility in Chesapeake, VA. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment while assisting with routine operational and production tasks throughout the facility.

• Perform routine housekeeping throughout the facility
• Assist with general operational tasks to support daily grain handling and facility operations
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment to ensure product safety and quality
• Follow all company safety policies and regulatory guidelines
• Support operational teams with facility maintenance and basic labor tasks as needed
• Operate within established safety standards and report any hazards or safety concerns

• Must have previous industrial or agriculture experience
• Must be dependable with a strong work ethic
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• TWIC card required (or ability to obtain)
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills required
• Strong attention to safety procedures

• Climbing vertical heights up to 150 feet
• Lifting and carrying tools or equipment up to 100 pounds
• Exposure to grain dust, humidity, and outdoor temperatures
• Exposure to loud industrial noise
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including respiratory protection when necessary

Monday – Sunday: 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am 5 days per week with two days off per week.

Must be open to working weekends and evening shifts. Overtime, weekends, and holidays are required.

$23.85/hour
