1st Shift Recycling Sorter, GFL, Chester, VA

General Laborers / Sorters needed to sort recyclables at a large recycling and processing plant in Chester, VA. Sorting recyclables is not a glamorous job but it’s a necessary one that helps keep our community clean. This position does not require a resume, a candidate's ability to follow directions and the results of the realistic job preview will determine if we consider moving forward in candidacy for a future or present full-time position.

Schedule: 5 am – 3pm

We need reliable, detail and safety-oriented Sorters who are at least 18 years of age or older and:

• Have the ability to lift 25 pounds, as needed, and stand for your entire shift.
• Are willing to consent to a background check. Leadpoint prides itself on being a second-chance employer.
• Are willing to consent to a drug screen. This is a drug-free workplace.
• Have reliable transportation to get to work although many of our facilities are located near a bus line. We also promote carpooling and ride sharing.
• Prior warehouse, general labor or sorting experience is a plus, but not required.
