Job Title
General Labor-Construction
LocationChesapeake, VA
Pay Range$19/hr Weekly Pay
ShiftDay Shift. Spanish-speaking and bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities- Complete equipment safety and startup checks at the beginning of each shift
- Read production specifications from a computer workstation
- Set up building tables and truss layouts according to design plans
- Measure and place lumber pieces accurately
- Use hammers, hand tools, and production equipment to assemble trusses
- Experience in manufacturing or construction preferred
- Ability to use a variety of tools safely and effectively
- Ability to perform repetitive work at a fast pace while standing for long periods
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Proficiency in reading tape measures accurately
