Industrial MIG Welder | 2nd Shift
Virginia Beach, VA | $24–$32/hour + 15% Shift Differential | Full-Time

We’re hiring experienced Industrial MIG Welders for 2nd shift at a growing manufacturing operation in Virginia Beach.
You'll be part of a team fabricating large structural steel components and equipment enclosures used in industrial power applications. This is steady, hands-on fabrication work with competitive pay, overtime opportunities, and the potential to build a long-term career.
Pay & Shift

  • $24.00–$32.00/hour based on experience
  • PLUS 15% shift differential
  • Top rate with differential: $36.80/hour
  • Overtime opportunities available
  • Full-time, 2nd shift
  • Contract-to-hire opportunity
What You'll Be Doing
  • MIG weld structural steel components and fabricated assemblies
  • Fabricate frames, I-beams, tanks, enclosures, and other welded components
  • Read and work from blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
  • Measure, fit, and prepare materials for welding and assembly
  • Set up welding equipment for production and fabrication
  • Use grinders, sanders, and hand tools to prepare materials and finish welds
  • Inspect completed welds for quality and make repairs or rework as needed
  • Assist with pressure testing and final product inspections
  • Maintain welding equipment and an organized work area
  • Follow established safety and quality procedures
What We're Looking For
  • Previous welding experience in manufacturing, structural steel, or fabrication
  • Strong MIG welding skills required
  • Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
  • Experience fitting and welding structural components
  • Strong measuring, layout, and basic math skills
  • Ability to safely operate welding and fabrication equipment
  • TIG experience is a plus
  • Vocational welding training or welding certifications are preferred
