The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in keeping industrial production equipment operating safely and efficiently. This position focuses on both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and other production machinery. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance independently, using your strong technical skills to diagnose issues, implement solutions, and support continuous operation in a busy manufacturing environment.

• Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repair on motors, pumps, gears, gearboxes, conveyors, and a variety of production machinery and equipment.
• Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repair on industrial manufacturing equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
• Read and interpret blueprints, prints, and technical drawings to plan and execute accurate repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Perform both preventative and corrective maintenance independently to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Carry out stick welding on steel components as part of equipment repair, light fabrication, and burning operations.
• Use basic math to calculate and verify angles, dimensions, and tolerances to ensure precise fabrication and repair work.
• Troubleshoot and support PLC-controlled equipment as needed to resolve production and maintenance issues.
• Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential problems and recommend improvements or corrective actions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in an industrial, dusty environment.
• Collaborate with production and other maintenance team members to prioritize work orders and respond quickly to equipment emergencies.
• Work first shift hours and respond to weekend or off-schedule emergency maintenance needs when required.
• Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate PPE while performing maintenance and repair activities.

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting experience with industrial equipment such as motors, pumps, gears, gearboxes, conveyors, and production machinery.
• Hands-on electrical troubleshooting and repair experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, prints, and technical drawings accurately.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role involving stick welding, light fabrication, and burning.
• Very experienced and proficient in stick welding on steel components.
• Proficiency in mechanical maintenance and electrical maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting in a production environment.
• Ability to use basic math to calculate and check angles and dimensions for accurate repairs and fabrication.
• Demonstrated longevity in previous positions, showing reliability and commitment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, "can do, will do" attitude.
• Self-motivated approach with a drive to improve and be the best at what you do.

• TIG welding experience is a plus.
• Welding certifications are highly preferred.
• Industrial maintenance and repair background in a manufacturing facility.
• Comfort working with a wide range of production machines and equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively with a team.

This role is based in a non-climate-controlled industrial facility where the primary product is made from cement, resulting in a dusty environment where you should expect to get dirty. The position operates on first shift, starting at either 6:00 a.m. or 7:00 a.m. and ending at 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Weekend work and emergency response may be required when urgent maintenance issues arise.
