We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated intern; with knowledge and skills related to Nonprofit Leadership and Management and/or Human Resources. The intern must be enrolled in an undergraduate program.

Hours of Operation
:
Monday through Friday 9:00am-5:00pm (flexible intern hours)

Intern Responsibilities
:

• Gain a working knowledge of the For Kids mission, the For Kids brand, and Services Department Goals
• Assist the Volunteer team with surveying and documenting For Kids department(s) volunteer needs
• Assist the Volunteer team with maintaining volunteer schedules, creating tasks and supervising volunteer task completion
• Cultivate positive relationships with volunteers, using phone or email as needed to provide recognition and support
• Where applicable, assist the Volunteer team in data management and collecting feedback for reports; maintain confidentiality of volunteers and partners
• Attend agency staff meetings/training and assist with agency/community events

• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work with diverse populations and maintain positive relationships
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and problem-solve
