Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Wound​/Ostomy Care

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Outpatient Wound Care Clinic position requiring Epic experience and a valid VA or Compact RN license.

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license required — no exceptions
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required — no exceptions
• Clean licensure and background history required — any hits will disqualify candidacy
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Outpatient wound care clinic setting
• Monday through Friday schedule, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements
• 13-week contract
• Provide skilled nursing care to patients with acute and chronic wounds, including assessment, treatment planning, and dressing changes
• Responsibilities include patient and family education and coordination of care across the interdisciplinary team
• Collaborates with providers and team members to promote evidence-based, high-quality wound care
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
