Registered Nurse – Home Health & Hospice

Sentara Health is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Registered Nurse. The RN will provide high‑quality nursing care to patients in their homes or hospice settings, ensuring comfort, dignity, and emotional support during end‑of‑life care.

Chesapeake, VA

Work Shift:

First (Days) / Flexible Time (15 hours/week) – Day Shift

Position:
Sentara Hospice Services – Chesapeake, VA

Pay Range: $33.61 – $56.01 per hour

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Required)
• Valid RN License in Virginia (Required)
• BLS certification (Required within 90 days of hire)

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (Required)
• Previous Home Care/Hospice experience (Preferred)
• Experience developing, implementing, and evaluating plans of care for specific patient populations (Preferred)
• Ability to manage a patient case load through coordination with multidisciplinary team members (Preferred)
• Clinical knowledge and skills in relevant clinical areas (Preferred)
