Licensed Practical Nurse-Temporary-Patriots Colony-Nights

Williamsburg, Virginia – Hiring Range $45.00 - $85.00/Hourly. Actual pay is determined by temporary commitment and business needs.

Patriots Colony is hiring a 13‑Week Temporary LPN for Night Shift. Temporary positions require 2 years LPN experience. This position is not for current Riverside employees.

• Works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Nurse Manager or Nursing Supervisor, and ultimately responsible to the Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing and Director of Quality Care Management.
• The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) monitors the resident.
• Participates in the planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care.
• Provides for the emotional, physical comfort and safety of the residents and their families.
• Assists in supervision of auxiliary personnel.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Allows resident choices within limits of capability considering safety/dignity issues and follows policies and procedures of facility to include resident privacy and dignity.
• Assigns duties to non‑professional staff such as CNAs according to education, training, policy and resident need to assure quality resident care is delivered.
• Engages team members for optimal performance and addresses performance as needed.
• Contributes to the development, maintenance, or modifications to the individual service plans.
• Identifies changes in condition with proper documentation according to nursing practice standards.
• Demonstrates consistent follow through for positive resident outcomes.
• Utilizes good judgment and specialized skills.

• 2 years LPN Nursing experience (Required)
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) (Required)
• CPR/BLS Certification – American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 days (Required)
