Assignment Details
Cardiovascular Holding RN

Schedule:

4x10 Shifts will vary as needed between 7am-7pm (worked hours may extend beyond scheduled time), Days totaling 40 hours, weekdays, no weekends or on call

Longer assignments through January 9, 2027, are available but not required!!
Travelers must work two of the three winter holidays.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum of two years of recent relevant experience
Active Virginia or Compact RN license in hand at the time of submission; no exceptions
Must be proficient in Epic; no exceptions

Preferred Experience

Candidates should have experience caring for patients before and after minimally invasive cardiac procedures, including:

"Coronary angioplasty
"Coronary stent placement
"Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)
"Impella device management
"Electrophysiology (EP) studies
"EP device implants
"Cardiac medications and vasoactive drips

Critical care exposure with cardiac patients is required. Experience in the following areas is strongly preferred:
"Critical Care (ICU)
"Emergency Department
"Cardiac Cath Lab
"Pre/Post Procedure Recovery
"Cardiac Rehabilitation

Required Certifications

BLS through the American Heart Association
ACLS through the American Heart Association
