Assignment Details

ICU RN AUTO OFFER!

Schedule:

3x12s or 4x12s
Every other weekend, floating, and holidays within the contract are required
48-hour contracts are available with overtime billed after 48 hours please indicate the candidate's preference at the time of submission.

Longer assignments through January 9, 2027, are available but not required!!
Travelers must work two of the three winter holidays.

Patient Ratios

Typical ratio: 1:2 3.

Candidates must be willing to float to:
"Stepdown Unit
"Emergency Department or Medical-Surgical units to care for ICU patients being held

Minimum Requirements

Three years of critical care experience preferred (strong candidates with less experience may be considered)
Previous travel experience preferred
Active Virginia or Compact RN license in hand at the time of submission; no exceptions
Must be proficient in Epic; no exceptions

Required Skills

Strong neuro critical care experience.
Ventilator management
IV drip titration
Telemetry monitoring
Conscious sedation
Dysrhythmia recognition and management
Emergency response and critical care management

Required Certifications

BLS (American Heart Association only)
ACLS (American Heart Association only)
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Local RN candidates living within 50 miles of Chesapeake Regional Healthcare are not eligible for this position.
