Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Nurse

• Shift times vary between 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Travelers must work 2 of the 3 winter holidays
• Longer contracts available through January 9, 2027

• 2+ years Cath Lab RN experience
• Recent Critical Care (ICU), Cardiac Care/CC, or ED experience
• EPIC proficiency – hard requirement
• BLS + ACLS
• Active VA RN or Compact RN license in hand at submission
• Must be willing/able to work rotating call
• Permanent address must be 50+ miles from the facility
• No prior license or background hits
• No history of fit-test issues because PAPR is not available

Strong candidates should have experience with:

• Diagnostic & interventional cardiac cath
• ACT monitoring
• Sheath removal/monitoring
• Cardioversion
• IABP
• Pacemaker insertion
• TEE
• Watchman
• Rotablator atherectomy
• IV vasopressors and emergency medications

EP experience is a plus
, since the RN may be assigned to Electrophysiology, Cath Lab, or Cath Holding
.

• VA/Compact license must be active at submission
