Registered Medication Aid

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Registered Medication Aid to support residents in our assisted living and memory care community. In this role, you will accurately administer medications, document per regulations, and monitor residents for changes in condition. You'll assist with daily living tasks, follow individualized care plans, and uphold high standards of safety and infection control. Working in our resident-first, family-oriented culture, you'll build meaningful relationships, collaborate with a close-knit care team, and grow your skills in senior, person-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare, administer, and document resident medications per physician orders and state regulations
• Monitor residents for medication effects, side effects, and changes in condition, reporting concerns promptly
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed, supporting independence and dignity
• Follow care plans, safety protocols, and infection control procedures
• Communicate effectively with nurses, caregivers, residents, and families
• Maintain accurate records, MARs, and documentation in accordance with policy
• Support a warm, home-like, resident-first environment
• Participate in training, meetings, and ongoing education to maintain competencies
• Assist with coordinating pharmacy refills and medication storage/ordering
• Respond calmly to emergencies and follow established procedures
