The veterinarians and staff at our clinic are ready to provide your pet with cutting‑edge veterinary medical care. From wellness exams and vaccines to advanced diagnostics and complex surgical procedures, your dog, cat, or ferret will receive high‑quality care at our hospital.
Position PurposeCome extern with us! Heartland Veterinary Partners" Externship Program works to provide 1st‑4th year veterinary students with hands‑on experience and mentorship to help them become "practice ready" by their first day in practice. Externships are typically 2 weeks long and Heartland will cover lodging costs if needed. Length of externship is flexible and we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.
Requirements/ Qualifications
- Eligibility:
Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School. - Must be able to provide student PLIT.
