• Support the SAIW project modernizing the nation's fleet by ensuring quality standards are met.
• Implement and oversee quality assurance processes in compliance with NAVSEA standards, QA Workbooks, and safety requirements.
• Interface with program management, government technical staff, and customers to report progress, issues, and resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with local policies, OSHA, ISO 9000, 14001, OSHAS 18001, and other safety/environmental standards.
• Lead and mentor quality and safety teams across multiple locations.
• Participate in reviews, develop corrective actions, and track their closure.

• 10+ years of experience in ship repair or related industry.
• Minimum 5 years in performance and quality management, including 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience interpreting mechanical drawings, manuals, and directives.
• Knowledge of ISO standards, OSHA, NAVSEA Standard Items, data analysis, Lean tools, DMAIC, Six Sigma, and Microsoft Office.
• Leadership, critical thinking, problem solving, communication, and team-building skills.

• Experience with ISO 9000 series, Six Sigma Black Belt, degree in engineering, quality management, or related field.
