Construction Material Testing in Chesapeake, VA, seeks laboratory technicians to convert field samples into numbers inside a documented AASHTO R18 quality system with calibrated equipment and accountability for every result.
You will perform ASTM tests, maintain calibration and quality records, log samples, break cylinders, and support proficiency programs. Pay is $25 to $35 per hour with overtime during heavy testing seasons, mostly daytime hours with occasional field sampling.
