Position Summary:
Sam’s Club is looking for a dedicated associate to join our freezer, cooler, and deli team. You will keep shelves stocked, maintain sanitary conditions, and provide front‑line customer service in the deli department. Your role is essential to keeping our freezers and coolers operating smoothly and ensuring members receive fresh, high‑quality products.
Base pay: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr

- Ensure high‑quality products are available and properly stored.
- Maintain clean shelves, accurate temperature control, and correct expiration dates.
- Pack products in appropriate containers and organize stock displays.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member‑ready work area.
- Follow safety standards, conduct safety sweeps, and report unsafe conditions.
- Handle claims, returns, and pricing per company policy.
- Provide member service by recognizing members, answering questions, and offering assistance in the deli area.
- Comply with food handling, cold chain, and sanitation procedures.
- Operate and maintain equipment, monitor fans, drains, and doors, and report issues to management.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must complete all required training and assessments within the prescribed time period.
- Experience with stocking and customer service.
- Strong problem‑solving and innovation skills.

The hourly wage is $16.00–$23.00*; the actual rate will meet or exceed the local minimum wage. Premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed.
