Freight Flow Associate

Position Summary

Sam's Club is seeking a Merchandising Associate to support store operations, including forklift operations, inventory management, member service, merchandising, safety, and club pick‑up order processing.

• Comply with company policies, procedures, and the Open Door Policy.
• Operate a forklift to safely pick up, move, and position merchandise pallets.
• Complete work assignments, prioritize tasks, and communicate progress.
• Receive stock, organize merchandise, and maintain inventory flow.
• Provide member service, recognizing member needs and using self‑service technology.
• Maintain safety of the facility with safety sweeps, hazardous material handling, and reporting hazards.
• Maintain sales floor and merchandising presentation, including restocking, rotating, and displaying merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise, ensuring sanitation and food‑safety compliance.
• Assist with club pick‑up orders and audit accuracy.
• Track inventory, maintain in‑stock levels, control shrinkage, and use inventory tools.
• Operate and maintain forklifts safely, and report unsafe conditions.
• Use technology to help customers and identify shrink opportunities.
• Support a culture of inclusion, teamwork, integrity, and continuous improvement.

• 90 days of prior forklift experience with certification.
• Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Customer Service Experience.
• Retail Experience.
• Experience supervising a team.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. Additional compensation, such as premiums, may apply.
