DUTIES

Interview incoming guests to determine their status in order to assign appropriate quarters. Assist clientele in the completion of required rules and regulations governing the assignment and use of quarters; issue room keys, provide statements of non-availability when applicable. Post registration cards, orient guest concerning use of facility and equipment, and other facilities available on post. Compute charges for guest checking out, receive payments and room keys;

render receipts. At end of shift, account for and secure cash.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Minimum:

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide at the level necessary to complete required reports.
Preferred (in addition to the minimum):
  • Minimum one year of experience performing the full range of administrative practices related to rental and inspection of hotel or housing facilities.
  • Skill to process customer complaints, prepare reports, and control inventory of furniture, household supplies and equipment.
  • Knowledge to provide general assistance to other facility personnel and perform a range of services such as accept reservations, register guests, assign rooms, issue keys, calculate and post charges to guests' account, present statements, collect payments, and maintain records.
  • Knowledge of basic cash handling techniques.

    • Residency Requirements:
