• Assist in the management of a retail activity with sales less than $14M. Responsible for receipt, stocking, pricing, inventorying, transfer, replenishment, and warehousing of merchandise; assist customers and resolve complaints; interview, hire, train or direct training of assigned personnel; encourage and develop employees through coaching, training, and opportunities for growth; assist in developing promotional sales; handle vendor and operational activities; ensure store recovery.
• Supervise vending and warehouse operations; welcome customers, maintain product knowledge, and help with merchandise selection; respond quickly to customer concerns with a sense of importance.
• Serve as key carrier for opening and closing the store as required, including weekends as scheduled.
• Review monthly P&L statements, compare actual figures to plan, and initiate action plans to bring future months into line when plan is not achieved.
• Direct or supervise other employees and be responsible for overall store operations in the absence of the manager.
• Ensure all policies regarding Loss Prevention are adhered to, remain alert and proactive regarding shrink and the Alert Line.
• Ensure all associates comply with established safety standards and emergency preparedness requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Minimum two years of progressively responsible experience equivalent to a lead/supervisor demonstrating leadership, operational oversight, and customer service management OR completion of the CGX Leadership Development program (LDP).
• Ability to routinely lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with emphasis in retail or business administration with at least two years of specialized experience. General business experience may be substituted for degree on a year‑for‑year basis.
