Support store operations to meet financial and sales goals, build associate and customer relations, and promote a strong store culture. Maintain communication with the management team and store associates.

• Manage the Produce Department, including hiring, training, and developing associates.
• Supervise departmental duties, conduct performance management, and appraisals.
• Manage labor and coach associates to meet productivity expectations.
• Lead and motivate store team to reflect company values and strategies.
• Support achievement of financial and operational targets.
• Ensure excellent customer service and a positive shopping environment.
• Utilize company tools for financial reporting, inventory, scheduling, and business analysis.
• Maintain department appearance, safety, sanitation, and compliance with regulations.
• Manage department scheduling to ensure customer service standards.
• Oversee ordering, receiving, and display of produce in accordance with policies.
• Monitor safety, record incidents, and ensure loss prevention.
• Utilize advertising and promotional materials effectively.
• Complete required training and provide recognition and coaching to staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Understanding of store operations preferred.
• Ability to learn technical tasks and lead others.
• Must be at least the minimum age required.
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting and standing.
• Certification as a Food Safety Manager or ability to attain within 90 days.

• Proficiency with computers and communication systems.
• Ability to stand, walk, push/pull, and lift as specified.
• Ability to handle substances related to cleaning and packaging.
• Tolerance for working in extreme temperatures for limited periods.
