Sales Associate

WM Supercenter # Hillcrest Pkwy, Chesapeake, VA

Shift options: start between 8:00 am – 11:00 am or 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

General merchandise associates greet customers on the salesfloor, offer them assistance and recommend merchandise based on the customer's wants and needs. They maintain Hobbies & Home Improvement displays and may mix paint or cut fabric as required.

• Assist customers in finding products across various departments.
• Keep aisles neat and clean, stock shelves, and maintain display order.
• Answer customer questions and help with checkout as needed.
• Follow store policies and procedures for product handling and safety.

• Strong customer service skills and a friendly attitude.
• Ability to stand and walk up to 5 miles per shift.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
• Basic math skills for pricing and cash handling.
