Position Summary

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00/hr

Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our Bakery/Packager associates prepare fresh baked items daily for our members through following recipes and wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families. They juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders.

• Be a Team Member – Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team, communicate with team members, and be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
• Be an Expert – Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment, following recipes and make‑up instructions, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise according to company policies. Demonstrate compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management.
• Be a Techie – Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Use handheld technology for production decisions, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality.
• Be an Owner – Ensure commitment to operational excellence, maintain work area quality and date control standards, secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise, eliminate waste, and assist members with purchasing decisions.
• Be a Talent Ambassador – Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience, modeling high‑quality service, and exhibiting energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics, implementing related action plans.
• Complete work assignments prioritizing policies, data, resources, and collaboration with managers and coworkers. Identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations, communicating progress and recommending improvement opportunities.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Must be a multitasker with strong customer‑service skills.
• Must have problem‑solving abilities and a positive attitude.

Hourly wage range: $17.00 to $25.00. Additional premium compensation ranges from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour under specific circumstances.
