Position: Sales Clerk Firearms

Pay Plan/Series/Pay Band: NF-2091-01

Salary: $16.00/hour

Location: Chesapeake, VA - Exchange

Work Schedule: Part-Time (20-29 hours/week)

• Welcome customers, maintain product knowledge and assist with firearm selection.
• Respond promptly to customer concerns.
• Ensure strict adherence to ATF, Federal, State, and Local firearm rules and regulations.
• Complete federal form 4473, applicable state forms, , and paperwork required for firearm sales.
• Perform daily price checks and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Sell merchandise and provide premier customer service, including product demonstrations.
• Replenish stock and maintain merchandise in a neat, presentable condition.
• Receive and process cash, checks, credit cards, debit cards, and gift cards; give accurate change.
• Maintain sales records; close out shift balances; account for all monies.
• Perform price changes for various departments; set promotions and display signage properly.
• Conduct daily count of on-site firearms to ensure accurate control.
• Follow Loss Prevention policies, be aware of shrink, and adhere to safety standards and emergency preparedness.
• Work weekends and perform other related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent with math coursework sufficient to read, comprehend, explain product literature, and perform arithmetic tasks for stocking and inventory.
• Knowledgeable in firearms.
• Ability to routinely lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift 25 pounds; able to stand for long periods.
• Previous retail merchandising experience (preferred).
• Current Seller  FFL process (preferred).
• Must be at least 18 years old; if less than 18, prior written consent from parent or guardian is required.
