TK Elevator is looking for a Sales Representative, Hydraulic Modernization to join our team in Norfolk, VA
. In this role, you’ll be helping building owners and property managers upgrade aging hydraulic elevator systems to become safer, smarter, and more energy-efficient with our pre‑engineered solutions. You’ll own the sales process—from relationship‑building to contract close—and work with a collaborative operations team to bring upgrades to life. Whether you're coming from construction, facility services, building tech, elevator or another B2B field, this is a chance to grow in an essential industry with long‑term career potential.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Client Partnerships
    :
    Develop strong, consultative relationships with new and existing clients. Help them understand the value of modernizing their hydraulic elevator systems.
  • Sales Process Ownership
    :
    From prospecting and presenting bids to contract execution, manage deals from start to finish while meeting revenue and profit goals.
  • Growth
    :
    Identify leads, schedule calls, and convert opportunities to wins using TKE proven sales strategies and marketing tools.
  • Team Player: Work side‑by‑side with operations team visiting project sites to ensure successful delivery and a great customer experience.
  • Knowledge
    :
    Keep up with product updates, pricing, market trends, supplier information, and elevator code requirements to create the best solutions for clients.
  • Project Management
    :
    Take ownership from the sales process through installation including coordinating submittals, creating requested change orders, and ensuring client satisfaction and deadlines are met.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum 1 year of business-to-business sales experience is required.
  • Strong attention to detail with proactive follow‑up skills.
  • Demonstrated success in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Outstanding ability to build and nurture relationships with customers, team members, and cross‑functional colleagues.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Salesforce experience. (preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and/or blueprint/drawings. (preferred)
