Position: Inside Sales Coordinator - Flooring Construction at Gpac Chesapeake, VA

Position Overview

The Inside Sales Coordinator will serve as the backbone of our sales operations, providing administrative and customer support to ensure smooth project coordination. This individual will interact with clients, prepare bids and quotes, and assist the sales team in securing new business. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing information about our products and services.
  • Assist in creating and submitting bids, proposals, and quotes for flooring projects.
  • Process and track orders, ensuring timely delivery and accurate communication with clients and internal teams.
  • Work closely with the sales team to prepare presentations, maintain sales materials, and organize client meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems, tracking leads, sales activities, and project progress.
  • Coordinate project schedules and follow up with clients to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with estimating, project management, and operations teams to support successful project execution.
  • Assist in researching market trends and competitor activities to support sales strategies.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phones, managing emails, and maintaining organized files.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, or administrative roles (construction or flooring industry experience is a plus).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software (experience with construction management software is a bonus).
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • A proactive and customer-focused attitude.
