Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Daytime Mon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including lobbies, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points, to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify entry authorization for employees, visitors, and/or vendors in accordance with site protocols for a financial services location.
• Support assigned operational needs by observing facility activity, assisting with directions and inquiries, and communicating professionally with site contacts, emergency responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
