• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and assigned security-related protocols at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas while verifying credentials, directing foot traffic, and supporting visitor management and delivery procedures in accordance with post instructions.
• Complete routine logs, incident reports, and shift communications, and assist with emergency response activities and/or evacuation support as directed by site policies.

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
