Campus Security Officer
Professional demeanor with the ability to maintain appropriate boundaries and avoid fraternization with students.
- Ability to perform mobile patrol duties, including walking approximately 5–8 miles per day, and working outdoors in inclement weather as required.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Professional appearance.
- Solid computer skills.
- Open availability required.
- Weekend position only — must have open availability on Saturday and Sunday.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Experience preferred but not required.
Campus Security Officers: $16 per hour.
Part Time TWIC Officers: $17 per hour and up.
Requirements- Valid driver’s license.
- Open to working weekends and have a flexible schedule.
- TWIC preferred but not required.
- Reliable transportation.
All Security Positions are Full Time and Part Time. All shifts available.
Must have excellent customer service skills. We prefer 1 year of security experience but it is not required.
Security positions require passing a drug screen and background check.
Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
Job Responsibilities- Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
- Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
- Frequent lifting up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
