The Loss Prevention Specialist plays a crucial role in safeguarding the company's assets by effectively preventing theft, fraud, and ensuring safety compliance within the assigned store or multiple locations. Key responsibilities include utilizing state-of-the-art tools and techniques to minimize financial losses, such as:

• Identifying and investigating incidents of theft and fraud
• Reviewing CCTV footage and analyzing exception reports
• Monitoring physical security measures within the store
• Auditing the Electronic Article Surveillance system
• Fostering a culture focused on shrink elimination

In addition, the Loss Prevention Specialist is responsible for:

• Preparing comprehensive and precise case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries
• Preserving evidence for investigations
• Collaborating with law enforcement and providing testimony in both criminal and civil court cases
• Reporting any hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty

This role requires a commitment to safety, integrity, and operational excellence. The Loss Prevention Specialist must address asset protection concerns and support store-specific objectives while maintaining a careful focus on risk management and the safety of associates, vendors, customers, and the company.
