Chesapeake, VA | Full‑time, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

We are currently seeking a Class A Diesel Mechanic to help maintain our fleet of tractors, trailers, forklifts, and other equipment. This is a senior-level technician role responsible for advanced diagnostics, major repairs, and preventative maintenance to ensure maximum fleet uptime.

• Diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks, trailers, electric forklifts, and related equipment.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting on diesel engines, electrical systems, and ABS brake systems.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Complete accurate maintenance documentation and parts requests.
• Utilize diagnostic software and tools to identify mechanical issues.
• Support shop efficiency and equipment readiness.
• Mentor or assist junior technicians as needed.

• Minimum 2+ years experience as a Class A Mechanic working on heavy-duty trucks, trailers, forklifts, or diagnostic and troubleshooting skills preferred.
• Experience with software such as Davie 4, Service Ranger, ESA, Diagnostic 8, Cummins is a plus.
• High school diploma preferred; vocational certification or apprenticeship strongly preferred.
• Associate degree is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• State Inspector license a plus.
• Must be computer literate and able to learn new systems.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools.
• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 100 lbs.
  
  Must be able to stand, walk, and work around, on top, or under equipment.
• Team‑oriented with a strong can‑do attitude and willingness to learn.

• +$2.00/hour with CDL.
• +$0.50/hour with State Inspector Certification.
