Hiring for an Experienced COMMERCIAL HVAC Service Technician

Russell’s Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, And Electric’s commercial department is growing again! We are looking for the next Commercial HVAC/R service tech to join our ranks. We take pride in providing the best work/life balance and benefits in the industry. Plus, we have light on-call demand and do not service restaurant‑hot side equipment.
Responsibilities- Must be able to work individually while maintaining exceptional customer service
- Efficient trouble‑shouting and problem‑solving of all common mechanical systems up to 50 tons
- Able to follow all Russell’s safety guidelines and customer requirements
- Perform preventive maintenance on heating and cooling systems
- Perform related work as assigned
- Build strong customer relationships and build knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs/expectations
- Maintain understanding of company repair policies and pricing
- Ability to discuss repair options with clients and present estimates
- Ability to learn and utilize all company software applications
- 5+ years' experience
- Valid Driver's License and clean DMV record
- Excellent technical and communication skills
- Friendly, personable, and responsible team player
- Possess own tools
- Knowledge of the theory, methods, practices, tools, and equipment of the trade.
- Knowledge of the operating principles and characteristics of the various types of refrigeration and air conditioning systems
- Knowledge of basic electricity and control systems
- Ability to apply the theory, technique, principles, and processes of the HVAC mechanic's trade
- Ability to read, understand, and work from schematics
- Universal EPA certified
- OSHA Certification (preferred)
- Be able to bend, stoop, reach, stand, lift and move 50lbs regularly throughout the day
