Our Distribution Yard Associate is tasked with assisting train and barge off loads from the ground, shoveling, using hand tools, and maintaining conveyors. This is a physical job that requires safety awareness and teamwork. The work environment varies from hot to cold conditions. Equipment used includes wheel loaders, skid steers, and excavators. The position requires flexibility to work varying schedules due to barge and rail timelines, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and occasional Saturday or Sunday work.

The role is seasonal up to 6 months.

Pay starts at $24.38 per hour.

Assist with train and barge off loads, shoveling, hand tool use, conveyor maintenance, operation of heavy equipment, and collaboration with team members to ensure safety and continuous improvement.

• Flexibility to work a varying schedule, including evenings and weekends when necessary.
• Experience working in an outdoor environment such as a plant, construction site, or distribution yard.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and using hand tools.
• Knowledge of rail or barge operations is a plus.
• Welding and cutting skills are a plus.
