Overview
Our Lamar office in Cheyenne, Wyoming is hiring an Operations crew member to install and maintain billboards for local and national advertisers.
Responsibilities- Install and maintain all billboard structures and advertisements.
- Remove and hang flexes, vinyls, and prepare copy on Tri‑Visions.
- Tighten bolts, paint steel structures, repair trim, and replace light bulbs as needed.
- Assemble billboard structures and faces, build extensions, and perform storm damage repairs.
- Conduct minor electrical repairs and clean the workshop area.
- Use power and manual tools while adhering to all safety regulations.
- Attend required safety meetings.
- Maintain operation vehicles, tools, equipment, and machinery.
- Document installations with photographs and written logs.
- Support team work and cooperate with crew members.
Monday‑Friday, 7:00am‑3:30pm. Occasional travel and on‑call shifts may be required.
Pay & Benefits- Hourly rate: $19–$20 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.

- Valid driver’s license.
- OSHA 10‑hour Construction certification (required).
- Good communication skills and fluency in English.
- Basic computer skills (Internet, Microsoft Word and Excel).
- Ability to work in all weather conditions, climb ladders, and work at heights up to 200ft.
- Working knowledge of electrical and fabrication techniques.
- Proficiency reading technical documents, blueprints, and diagrams.
- Familiarity with OSHA, DOT, and Lamar safety regulations.
- Ability to use construction equipment safely.
- Strong prioritization and time‑management skills.
- Preferred certifications (CDL, crane, signal, rigging, LDD) and experience working at heights up to 200ft.
- Heavy lifting (up to 100lb) and extensive bending, pushing, and reaching.
- Standing, stooping, walking, driving, and climbing.
- Requires sight acuity, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
- Little sitting; less than 50% of the time.
- Occasional nights away from home and on‑call shifts.
