As a Residential Maintenance Technician at Two Coast Living, you will keep our multifamily properties operating smoothly, performing light carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs while ensuring high safety and resident satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Address work orders promptly to prevent major issues.
- Perform light carpentry, minor electrical, plumbing repairs, and HVAC maintenance.
- Use EPA, CPO, HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing certifications for complex tasks.
- Proactively maintain property cleanliness, including pools and clubhouses.
- Engage residents professionally and maintain a safety-first mindset.
- Carry out full‑time duties Monday through Friday, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and high‑traffic periods.
- Maintain personal tool kit and use company‑owned or personal vehicle; valid driver’s license required.
- High school diploma or GED required; 3+ years’ experience in property or hospitality maintenance.
- Technical degree or certifications in HVAC, EPA, CPO, Plumbing, Electrical, etc. preferred.
- Experience in general building maintenance, light carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Must be at least 18 years of age; own tools; valid driver’s license.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office or related software.
- May lift or move up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent walking, standing, climbing stairs or ladders, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and operating tools in varied weather.
- Travel between properties or off‑site pickups using a vehicle.
- Work hours Monday through Friday; evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays may be required.
Medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance; 401(k) auto‑enrollment after 60 days; 40 vacation hours in the first year plus paid sick leave per state requirements; holiday pay for eligible employees (after 90 days of employment) and paid holidays for scheduled off days.
