Entry Level Diesel & Trailer Mechanic

Job Description

Cox Fleet is a leading provider of on‑site mobile maintenance and repair services for trucks and trailers. We are looking for a Diesel and Trailer Technician to join our team of mobile mechanics.

As a Mobile Technician you will travel to customer locations, perform preventive maintenance, general repairs, diagnostics, and basic mechanical work. You will be assigned a fully equipped mobile unit and work under the supervision of a Lead Technician.

The Flee Tec Academy offers a 5‑week paid classroom program. Upon completion, you will receive hands‑on training and a full‑time position.

• 5 weeks paid classroom training; all travel expenses paid.

• $16/hr (or state minimum wage, whichever is greater) + $250/week stipend for first week.
• $21/hr after graduation from the first phase of training.
• Additional training and pay progression available.

• Desire to start a career as a Diesel and Trailer Technician.
• Willingness to study hard and dedicate five weeks away from home.
• Strong technical aptitude and passion for fixing vehicles.
• Ability to operate an iPad.
• Must be 21 to drive a company truck.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).
• Background checks, driving records, pre‑employment drug testing, and physical clearance will be conducted.

• Minimum 16 hours of paid time off per month.
• Seven paid holidays per year.
• Additional paid leave: bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteer, military, parental.
