We are offering an opportunity for aspiring Diesel and Trailer Technicians to enroll in our Flee Tec Academy, a paid educational program leading to a full‑time Mobile Mechanic role.
Program Overview- 5 weeks of full‑time classroom training with travel, lodging, meals, and stipend covered.
- Hands‑on training with a Lead Technician after the classroom phase.
- Upon completion, a permanent Mobile Mechanic position with a state‑of‑the‑art service vehicle.
- Tools retained by the company.
- Future classroom refreshers and progression to higher pay.
- Desire to start a career as a Diesel and Trailer Technician.
- Willingness and ability to study hard for 5 weeks.
- Ability to travel and work away from home for training.
- Maturity to focus on the job – not a summer camp.
- Technical aptitude and passion for fixing vehicles.
- Ability to operate an iPad.
- Must be 21 years or older to operate our trucks.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Background checks, driving record, pre‑employment drug test, and physical exam required.
- $16/h (or state minimum, whichever is greater) + $250/week stipend for the first week (taxed).
- Then $21/h after graduating the first phase of training.
- Additional training and pay progression available.
The hourly base rate is in the range of $13.70 – $20.53 per hour, varying by location and candidate qualifications. The position may include additional commission and incentive programs.
Benefits- Minimum 16 hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays per year.
- Additional paid time off for bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteer time, military leave, and parental leave.
