Entry Level Diesel & Trailer Mechanic

We are offering an opportunity for aspiring Diesel and Trailer Technicians to enroll in our Flee Tec Academy, a paid educational program leading to a full‑time Mobile Mechanic role.

• 5 weeks of full‑time classroom training with travel, lodging, meals, and stipend covered.
• Hands‑on training with a Lead Technician after the classroom phase.
• Upon completion, a permanent Mobile Mechanic position with a state‑of‑the‑art service vehicle.
• Tools retained by the company.
• Future classroom refreshers and progression to higher pay.

• Desire to start a career as a Diesel and Trailer Technician.
• Willingness and ability to study hard for 5 weeks.
• Ability to travel and work away from home for training.
• Maturity to focus on the job – not a summer camp.
• Technical aptitude and passion for fixing vehicles.
• Ability to operate an iPad.
• Must be 21 years or older to operate our trucks.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Background checks, driving record, pre‑employment drug test, and physical exam required.

• $16/h (or state minimum, whichever is greater) + $250/week stipend for the first week (taxed).
• Then $21/h after graduating the first phase of training.
• Additional training and pay progression available.

The hourly base rate is in the range of $13.70 – $20.53 per hour, varying by location and candidate qualifications. The position may include additional commission and incentive programs.

• Minimum 16 hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays per year.
• Additional paid time off for bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteer time, military leave, and parental leave.
