DescriptionTeam Fishel, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction and network installation business, is hiring Drill Crew Leaders for underground construction projects in the Chesapeake, VA area. The Drill Crew Leader will be responsible for assisting the foreman by leading field crews to meet project goals in a safe manner.
Responsibilities- Ensures accuracy of daily field reports
- Develops work‑around procedures for maintaining crew productivity during delays caused by other trades, customer, lack of materials, absenteeism, etc.
- Monitors Quality Assurance and ensures installations meet customer specification and industry standards
- Ensures safety practices are observed during their work
- Reports to Foreman
- Ability to effectively lead a 3-person drill crew
- Ability to operate and maintain directional drill and locating equipment
- Ability to work from blueprints, and specifications
- Must possess and maintain a Class A CDL license and meet Team Fishel driver qualifications
Starting pay $30+ / hour dependent upon applicable experience and certifications.
