Role-Specific Perks - Company vehicle or allowance, mobile phone or phone allowance, uniforms, and work boot allowances POSITION OVERVIEW We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician Helper to join our fast-growing team. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude and strong problem-solving skills, as well as a high level of customer service.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Help technicians diagnose causes of problems and/or failures in heating/air conditioning systems, refrigeration systems, and food service equipment, for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems repair and/or replacement needs

Perform maintenance and service repairs, install new units, or replace parts of existing units according to specifications with supervision

Communicate with Dispatch to ensure completion of scheduled jobs

Help technicians maintain preventative maintenance schedules and procedures for customers

Provide elite customer service to every customer encountered

Perform all jobs with safety first in mind ACCOUNTABILITIES Continual learning and development in the body of knowledge through First Call Academy, to ensure we set the bar for skill level in the industry

Elite level of customer service, to ensure we continue to be the First Call our customers make for their HVAC needs ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT This position reports to the local Service Manager and is responsible for engaging with the service team and all of our customers.

Valid Driver License w/acceptable driving record

Active EPA Certification preferred

Available to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills BEHAVIORAL PROFILE Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimal numbers. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.

Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Mental stamina for problem-solving and prioritizing multiple tasks.
