The Heating Air Conditioning Technician is a full-time position. This role is responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in semi-commercial and residential properties. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing system issues, performing routine inspections, carrying out preventive maintenance, and completing necessary repairs to ensure efficient and safe operation. The technician will maintain systems, work with electrical and plumbing components (related to HVAC), and follow EPA and company safety standards.

This role also involves communicating with homeowners, documenting work performed, and supporting project timelines and quality standards.

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for HVAC systems.
• Experience with plumbing components related to HVAC installations and repairs.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices for heating and air conditioning equipment.
• Understanding of electricity and electrical systems as they relate to HVAC equipment.
• EPA certification for handling refrigerants or eligibility to obtain certification.
• Previous experience as an HVAC technician or in a related mechanical/electrical trade.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
• Reliable transportation to job sites in and around Chesapeake, VA.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or technical certification in HVAC is preferred.
