HVAC Technician III, HVAC

** Overview*
* We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician III to join our Chesapeake branch. This role focuses primarily on commercial service work, with some installation responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in troubleshooting, calibrating, and repairing HVAC systems across a variety of equipment types and tonnage ranges.

Pay: 35.00 - 48.00/hr.  The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

** Responsibilities*
* + Troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair HVAC components including thermostats, burners, transformers, controls, RTUs, chillers, boilers, mini splits

+ Use tools such as multimeters and refrigerant gauges

+ Perform both service and installation work, with a preference for service-heavy experience

+ Travel to multiple client sites (not assigned to a single location)

+ Participate in monthly safety meetings and occasional project briefings

+ Receive daily dispatches and operate from a company-provided vehicle

** Qualifications*
* + Minimum of 5 years in HVAC, with at least 3 years in commercial environments preferred

+ High school diploma or GED required

+ EPA certification and OSHA compliance required

+ Ability to work on systems ranging from 25 to 100+ tons

+ Strong communication, professionalism, and ability to work independently

* + Candidates with blended experience in residential and commercial HVAC will be considered, but commercial experience is prioritized

+ Familiarity with a variety of systems including RTUs, chillers, boilers, and mini splits

+ Demonstrated stability and growth in previous roles

+ Ability to work autonomously within 30-90 days of onboarding
