You'll help maintain, clean, and prepare equipment that customers rely on every day—making you an essential part of the operation.
What You'll Do- Operate yard equipment including Mini Excavators, Scissor Lifts, Boom Lifts, Forklifts, and Skid steers
- Refuel and stage equipment for customer pickup
- Grease, clean, and perform basic upkeep on machinery
- Power wash equipment returning to the yard
- Assist mechanics with preventative maintenance
- Load and unload equipment for customers and drivers
- Experience in general labor or yard labor
- Ability to operate common yard equipment
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools
- Strong communication skills when interacting with customers
- Valid driver's license
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
- 1–2+ years in construction, equipment yard, or similar environment
- Sit-down forklift experience
- Familiarity with Excavators or Skid steers

- Steady schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm - Steel-toed boots required; company provides PPE (vests, hard hats, etc.)
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chesapeake, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
