Residential Service Electrician

Russell's American Mechanical is seeking a Residential Service Electrician to join our construction trades team. In this hands-on role, you'll diagnose and repair residential electrical issues, perform safe, code-compliant installations, and complete maintenance on home electrical systems. You'll read blueprints, use test equipment, and collaborate with other trades on varied projects. Responsibilities

• Respond to residential service calls, diagnose electrical issues, and perform safe, code-compliant repairs
• Install and upgrade wiring, panels, outlets, lighting, and related residential electrical components
• Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specs to plan and execute work effectively
• Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections on home electrical systems
• Maintain detailed, accurate service records and job documentation
• Communicate clearly with homeowners about issues, options, and recommended solutions
• Ensure strict adherence to NEC, local codes, and company safety standards
• Collaborate with team members and other trades on multi-scope projects
• Maintain tools, vehicle, and materials in clean, organized, and service-ready condition
• Support apprentices or less-experienced technicians as needed
