Maintenance Technician / Mechanic

We are seeking a Tank Preparation and Maintenance Technician to support the cleaning, preparation, reconditioning, and maintenance of fuel and lubricant storage equipment. This hands-on role includes light mechanical work, equipment upkeep, and facility maintenance in an outdoor industrial environment.
What You'll Do- Clean, inspect, and recondition bulk fuel and lubricant tanks
- Prepare tanks and equipment for painting and refinishing
- Replace hoses, filters, and related components
- Perform basic maintenance and repairs on pumps and related equipment (electric and air-operated)
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Assist with general facility upkeep, including seasonal grounds maintenance
- Work independently on assigned tasks while supporting team projects as needed
- Perform additional maintenance and shop duties as assigned
- At least 1 year of forklift experience
- Comfortable working at heights
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable, safety-focused work ethic
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Warehouse, industrial labor, or general maintenance experience
- Industrial painting or surface preparation experience
- Experience with pumps, hoses, filtration systems, or similar equipment
- Forklift certification
