Software Developer, Senior – Agile Test-Driven Development. Antech Systems is seeking an experienced software developer to join our performance solutions team. Based in St. Mary’s County, Maryland, you will create or evolve dynamic interfaces and business logic integrated workflows to support multiple projects under NAWCAD WOLF ASI, associated DoD/Federal programs, and NAS Pax River, with emphasis on a Joint program user collaboration portal and software toolkit.

Projects and interdisciplinary teamwork will support in-house products, mission information systems delivered over containerization and web deployments for sustainment, safety, and analytic parts of the larger Fleet and Systems Sustainment workflows. This position is open to developers in all US locations, with a preference for candidates within 100 driving miles of Webster Field in St. Inigoes, MD or Lexington Park, MD, capable of regular up to 3-day trips per month to one or more of these locations.

• Develop and evolve components, modules, libraries, or microservices; automate workflows and business processes; perform data transformation; and/or XML to HTML5 dynamic manipulation.
• Contribute to full-stack development with an emphasis on scalable design within Agile Development or DEVSECOPS.
• Develop and support DoD/ National Guard–based solutions, including DoD Websites, NMCI, and Fleet infrastructure.
• Engage with stakeholders from non-technical customers to developers to move projects forward and foster collaboration.
• Decompose high-level requirements, use cases, and user stories into developmental tasks with Analysts, Developers, and Designers.
• Debug and troubleshoot applications to facilitate fixes and improvements; maintain configuration management; and adapt code with minimal disruption.
• Work with geographically distributed teams and environments, including CI/CD and incremental delivery, using tools such as JIRA, GIT, Jenkins, container orchestration, and SharePoint/Confluence.

• 7 years of experience in three or more of the listed areas, or 10+ years in at least two areas:
• Legacy system evolution to Cloud/Container architecture
• ETL/ELT development, implementation, and cross-solution integration
• JavaScript development in SPA sites/apps
• Microsoft .NET Framework (C# preferred) or Java
• Data Lake/Mart/Warehouse development and interface optimization
• Automated document generation and transformation into structured data
• XML development and data transformation with complex data sets and standards (e.g., S1000D, SCORM, xAPI)
• Microservice architecture and development
• API Development;
  Web Services with JavaScript (AJAX) and data formats (YAML, JSON, JSON-P, XML)
• MIS and DoD software development
• Developer and non-developer tool development
• Experience with deployment in DoD/National Guard environments

• Additional desired experience includes: user story decomposition, Agile Test-Driven Development, data transformation for analytics/AI, standards-based HTML5/CSS3, deployment to stand-alone/cloud/mobile from a single code base, jQuery, Machine Learning, DevX, UX, WCAG/Section 508 compliance, and experience with JIRA, GIT, Jenkins, container orchestration, SharePoint/Confluence in CI/CD environments.

Salary Range: $110,000 – $145,000. Antech applies factors to determine compensation based on location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract elements, and broader requirements. The range is one component of the total compensation package.
