Mid-Level Application Developer Security Clearance

Position: MID-LEVEL APPLICATION DEVELOPER with Security Clearance

*** Summary A Mid-Level Application Developer is a key contributor within the software development team, leveraging Microsoft .NET technologies to design, build, and maintain scalable applications. This role requires proficiency in core software development principles, object-oriented design, and modern development practices. The developer must be able to analyze requirements, translate them into well-structured classes, methods, and services aligned with enterprise architecture standards, and implement solutions that are efficient, reliable, and maintainable.

In addition, the developer should be capable of troubleshooting and resolving complex issues, recommending improvements for performance and stability, and accurately estimating development effort to support project planning and delivery. Developers are also able to quickly troubleshoot and resolve application issues and make recommendations to improve performance and reliability. They are also able to review requirements and estimate accurate development hours and schedule costs.

Responsibilities
* Participate in the SAFe Agile Scrum team environment with a focus on planning and delivering changes iteratively

* Review requirements and develop accurate estimates

* Maintain knowledge of new developments in core technologies

* Works closely with other team members to ensure requirements are thoroughly understood and the application is complete with a seamless look and feel

* Work independently or in teams with minimal supervision

* Effectively communicate with customers and other team members

* Takes ownership of system and software to ensure minimal defects

* Proactively recommend alternative processes, technologies, or implementations to improve system performance or reduce time and cost

* Help troubleshoot and resolve production issues Basic Qualifications
* US Citizenship

* Must have an active DOD Secret Clearance

* Must have Level 1 or higher IAT Certification (A+ CE, Security+, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, SSCP)

* Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Information Systems, Computer Science, or another related field

* 3 - 6 years Application Development in application development, with at least 2 years in Microsoft .NET technologies including C#, Microsoft .NET and other object-oriented programming languages

* Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with external/internal services

* Contribute to building and maintaining microservices-based architectures

* Demonstrated proficiency in at least one of the following: T/SQL, P/SQL and LINQ to SQL

* Demonstrated proficiency Develop, test, and implement new software programs

* Demonstrated proficiency with writing complex code and participate in code reviews

* Demonstrated proficiency performing system design, upgrades, and maintenance according to business needs.

* Maintain system documentation

* Follows established UI/UX and software coding standards

* Demonstrated experience working with development tools like Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, Jira, Jama, Confluence, Bitbucket

* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices

* Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Proficient computer skills and ability to use word processing tools, i.e. Google Docs

Preferred Qualifications
* Demonstrated ability to troubleshooting and resolving database integrity, performance, blocking/deadlocking, connectivity, and security issues

* Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, Type Script, HTML, and CSS (Angular/React is a plus)

* MS SQL Server and Oracle experience is a plus
