Transportation Coordinator

Summary of Position

Provide administrative and operational support for our carrier partners, suppliers, and transportation analysts by overseeing C3 reservations, upload issue tracking and equivalent reports, and additional functions to ensure optimal levels of service for all logistics stakeholders.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery reservations through the C3 Reservation System to ensure timely load scheduling and execution of inbound freight.

• Compile and upload carrier issue reports and any equivalent reporting as needed in Oracle Transportation Management system.

• Assist with day-to-day transportation and logistics administration functions including data entry, report distribution, and recordkeeping.

• Participate in weekly transportation meetings to provide system or carrier performance updates.

• Partner with the carrier relations team to provide insight on carrier and supplier scheduling issues, reporting discrepancies, and other operational friction points.

• Perform other duties and special projects assigned that are consistent with the position’s responsibilities to support overall logistics and transportation objectives.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• High School Diploma.

• Previous experience in transportation or supply chain.

• Capable of utilizing Microsoft Excel to complete basic data entry and uploads.

• Good Communication and organizational skills.

• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and to meet aggressive project deadlines.

• Must be capable of using operational support software to complete daily tasks.

Additional Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a transportation / distribution environment.

• Familiarity with Oracle Transportation Management System or an equivalent TMS.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
